Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design is an undergraduate Fashion Designing course. It covers the study of creating original designs in garments, footwear, jewellery, luggage, etc. and a study of the ever-changing trends in the fashion industry and market. In other words, B.Sc. (Fashion Design) is the study of creating original designs which involve converting artistic talent and creativity in creating products like clothing, textiles, jewellery, footwear and other accessories. B.Sc. (Fashion Design) degree course also includes a detailed study of the ever-changing market trends and the related fashion. Many institutes abbreviate it as BFD but one should confirm it from the authorities concerned as B.F.D. is also used for abbreviating B.A. (Fashion Design) and Bachelor of Fashion Design Course whose duration and curricula may vary. Some institutes use the abbreviation B.Sc. (F.D.) which is more suitable as it is clearly understood. B.Sc. (Fashion Design) degree course generally covers the study of some of the specialized fields in the area of fashion design such as accessory & jewellery design; footwear design; garment design; interior design and leather design. The course is three years duration and it opens much career option for the candidates after its completion.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission
10+2 with min. 50% marks with english . In case candidate has not studied English as a subject, condition of English may be waived off , condidate has studied in English medium or has studied computer science as a subject.
